Total Face Lifting

When we talk about a facelift, we are referring to a surgical treatment whose purpose is to eliminate wrinkles and other signs of aging from the face and neck.

A facelift is also known as a rhytidectomy, rhytidoplasty or facial lift.

Usually, a facelift is recommended for people between the ages of 40 and 70 approximately.

However, a facelift cannot be performed on just anyone.

A facelift is, in fact, a personalized procedure that must be prepared on a strictly individual basis.

The duration of a facelift procedure can vary from a minimum of 30-40 minutes for the simplest operations, to up to 2-3 hours for the most extensive and complex procedures.

After the facelift, a day hospital stay is required for the simplest procedures performed under local anesthesia and a hospital stay of at least one or two nights for procedures performed under general anesthesia.

The results of a facelift are truly appreciable only two or three weeks after the procedure, when swelling and bruising have disappeared.
